RMS Sales Team Participates in Training for New LeeBoy 8530 Asphalt Paver

The Road Machinery & Supplies Co. and RMS Rentals sales teams participated in a training and education session led by LeeBoy Territory Manager Doug Thompson. The focus of the training was the new LeeBoy 8530 asphalt paver. The day began in the shop with a machine walk-around led by Thompson. The afternoon featured a machine demo in the RMS Rentals yard.

“Trainings like this are very important for our sales team because it gets them the information they need to help customers,” explained RMS Rentals General Manager Steven Klatt. “After a year of doing virtual trainings and staring at screens, we were finally able to get outside, hop on the machine, and see it in action. It was so beneficial.”

Equipped with new features designed with the paving professional in mind, the LeeBoy 8530 is a 125-hp workhorse. Standard machine assets include the 4,150 lb Legend HD PRO Screed with spring-loaded end gates, front adjustable heavy-duty conveyor chains, pivoting dual seating and controls, a LeeBoy 2-year product warranty as well as many other enhancements. LeeBoy’s wide, slow-moving conveyor system moves material from the truck to the screed without segregation which ensures a flawless mat.

RMS Rentals hosts Open House

  Rain isn’t usually something people in the construction industry like to see, but when it coincides with an event like the RMS Rentals Open House, there is a silver lining. That’s exactly what happened this year. On April 20, more than 200 customers, vendors, and employees took advantage of the wash out and attended the Open House at our Savage location. Attendees received a welcome bag with swag items and were able to visit with participating vendors to check out the equipment and meet with representatives. “This was a great event, and I am very thankful for everyone that helped to make it a success.
